Hello,

My name is Vanessa. I'm the person behind Make It Nifty.

I'm twenty-something living in Brisbane, Australia. I live with my spouse, Mr S, and am lucky enough to have a little studio in our house where I knit, crochet, sew and can exercise my creative muscle.
(Mr S bought a shed so I thought it was only fair : P)

I enjoy helping people to learn new skills and how to make things with the skills that they have learnt.
I get a buzz from sharing things that I have created with others.

I published my first knitting pattern on Ravelry on the 16th January 2014. I got such a buzz from sharing something I created with others that I just had to keep doing it.

I'm want this place can be virtual hub where I can share the various elements of my creativity with you.
